I have to admit I'm enjoying watching them plow snow, not sure why. They almost make it look fun. Rick is the perfect host to show off this tool.

Glad to see they are making good use of that snow-making equipment they used for Dennis Basso's mansion gala party.

[ Edited ]

I'm in SE PA.  We have not had significant snow for a few years.

At one point we did get a lot of snow (before Covid) and our next door neighbor who had purchased a big snow blower came to do our driveway & walkway plus they had their three boys help to shovel.

So it was either last year or the year before that I purchased this Snow Joe TSV which was a TSV in the past for Christmas for DH.  I figured for a few inches he could clear snow with the electric shovel but anything more we would have to hire someone unless our next door neighbor offered to help.

So far I think he took it out of the box to maybe try it out but it's really just been sitting.... buying it was good insurance to keeping snow away! Smiley Happy

Re: Snow Joe TSV - December 21, 2023

This looks really useful for me! When it snows here,  I am the one who shovels a path and open area for the dog! And, when I do, I get yelled at for chewing up the lawn... 🙄 This machine won't do that.👍🏼
We don't get a lot of snow in this area, but usually at least 2-5  snow events. Dang, I think the one on HSN last week was a better price and free shipping- Oh well. 🙄

But the reviews there are great! I think I will use this. Have a calm, peaceful winter Q friends!

We used to get blizzards here in SW Missouri while I was young and even young adult.  Now?  We're lucky if we get 6 inches of snow at any given time. Smiley Mad  If we do get any "significant" snow, there are always people driving around our neighborhood looking to clear the drives for around $20, so that's what we do.

Subscribe totally to this keep-it-away-by-having-the-right-tools theory! When I lived in Philadelphia, I would carry an umbrella at the slightest inkling of rain. Then, when it didn't rain, I took full credit. Man Very HappyMan Tongue

Re: Snow Joe TSV - December 21, 2023

I wish we had people driving around her in NJ wanting to do that. We don't get a lot of snow most winters but when we do, it can be a doozy of a storm. Obviously this would not be for the great big storms but it would be good for clearing the walk and around the cars so I'm considering it.  I hate that they are charging for shipping though.

@haddon9   I saw on the news this is the warmest winter on record.  The Minnesota Annual Ice Show was cancelled.   Scary stuff
