I dont understand the boring comment. I dont want my sneakers to have glitter, rhinestones or rainbow stripes and I dont need them metallic as I dont feel that would wash well,

I think these are subtle and pretty.

Hi @LizzieInSRQ

I remember you...you recently 'sheeshed' me LOL!   Probably that post of mine came off grumpier than I intended it to be.  I lost my husband 2 months ago and the bad/sad days happen a lot.  Anyway I want bygones to be bygones 😀

Anyway I agree with you here. I don't want sparkley bright shoes either.  So if some think the TSV is boring, so be it. They are just how I like them to be. Debating white or sand, and decided to get the sand.

@PhilaLady1 my simple sheesh to you had to do with your serious post on  not liking a fun exercise during a fashion show.

I was not aware of your very recent loss when I posted. .I am so sorry for your pain. I don't wish that on anyone.

I dont have anything against you re: bygones be bygones. Hey, if it makes you feel better I can be your Ouisa and you can slap me anytime 💜. ( its a Steel Magnolia reference)

I know grief, it sucks, its not linear, we dont get over it, we only learn to live with it, and most of the time, only time helps. I hope at times you find comfort in knowing you gave him a great life and you were loved. This can help the other times of feeling devastated...totally normal.  I have a long story but wont go into it. Like QEII said "Grief is the price we pay for love"

Re: Skechers TSV - March 1, 2025

I ordered a pair because I am a fan of the slip-ins.  Got my first pair last year; was very skeptical, but once I tried them I was hooked.  I also have a pair of step-in type shoes from Hoka and while I like them, they don't work as well as the Skechers (they were also a lot more money).  These are kinda plain, but I'm not really buying them for looks.
