Size of Candle Base - today’s TSV

What is the size of the candle base?  3.15" or 2.36" are both listed in the description.  I have very narrow windowsills and need to be sure they will fit.

Those are the dimensions. 

 

The base is not square.  Those are the width and depth.

Very helpful, thank you!  I thought it was a round base.  Like that it is oval.
