Re: Shark Wandvac Power Cordless Handheld Vacuum TSV

Good post @1Professor     I  have had battery problems with my larger stick vacuums (Dyson) after using them for a while, but I did buy this little Shark hand held last year and it has worked like a champ.  One thing I noticed last year during the presentation was the rep said to be sure to charge the battery and then let it run completely out during the first use, then after that you can use it and charge it any time.  It was a quick mention during the presentation, so I made sure to do that and no problems at all.  It may make a difference so I thought I would mention.  Also, so important to clean that little filter.

Great idea to get it and test it out for the next couple of months!

Excellent post @1Professor .  I really need a cordless handheld vacuum.  It is so much more convenient than the corded one.  I did order the wine and looking forward to getting it.  I did see the presentation where the vendor said to run down the battery the first time using it.

@LoveMeSomeQVC @Pecky + all

The scientist in me says there's something to that "run the vac down first time" that involves these types of batteries! Not my area, but I am going to run mine down first time.

Thanks to you both for mentioning it!

Lavender coming. Because, why not.

I have two bought at different times, the fI like both and am very happy with them.  Perfect for little messes, and pet hair.  It is not like a full size vac so don't expect it too.  Also excellent for car.

Re: Shark Wandvac Power Cordless Handheld Vacuum TSV

I have the older model which I paid $89 for.  Works just fine.  SO easy for small jobs.  I also bought the Bissel for a gift ($39)  Tried to be sure it worked.  Held it against my hand to test suction power then tried my Shark.  Shark was more powerful no doubt.  But the Bissel has good reviews so for the money I guess you can't go wrong.  I do like the new wide attachment on this new one.  Wish they would make  a LONG extension to get to bugs on the ceiling!!  Enjoy this new one!!

I have the original version and use it very often. no problem with suction nor the charger. you do need to be sure to fully seat it into the charger.

I use it to capture bugs, flies, spiders when my cat suddenly focuses on them. easy peasy. also nice on stove top.

would love that wider attachment, but will be happy with what I have. love Shark products.

Re: Shark Wandvac Power Cordless Handheld Vacuum TSV

@ShortyLugNut I did the same.  We shall see... I had a different one and somehow I threw the charger in the trash.  I was going through some old cords and could not figure out what that cord went to.  Oh well!!  Let me also add.  I was sitting with a very busy six year old that was helping me sort cords so that might have been the problem...
