Posting because I miss @beach-mom (who is valiantly studying).

Time after time, model after model, after the "I just received it" rave reviews for ANY brand of cordless vac, there appear the "it stopped working after a few weeks" reviews.

It appears (the scientist in me) that the battery charger does work well. I have another brand now that I thought I had figured out (just charefully make sure you re-insert with full connection), but it only lasts, now for 30 seconds. It cannot hold the charge and I've had it only months.

The early videos have hosts stating that THIS version of Shark is IMPROVED. I assume that's true, why not figure out the problem.

I have a plug in Shark that I love.

So I ordered it. However, that's because I now have almost 2 months to see if the charge holds under Extended Returns.

I was watching the presentation this morning with Pat and another  host. This handheld vac wasn't picking up anything. It was just pushing everything around. I couldn't believe they left the camera on this disaster as long as they did.

@ravenm12   I saw that, too! It was the "helper host" who wasn't really holding it right, plus the fluffy stuff, but a disaster demo, for sure.

Still counting on 2 months of actual experience, plus "Shark" brand, which is generally excellent.

@bonnie f   Yes, I noticed. 

But Shark has a major reputation and history.

They'd be fools to offer a major TSV (thousands and thousands to be sold) and not have tried to improve the charging issue (that all brands of cordless vac have). That's my experienced in marketing psychology.

So, it's totally worth the try. Because Extended Returns.

These come in small boxes, easy to repackage.

2 months of continual use!

Count me in.

@ravenm12   Thanks for your post because if I hadn't read it, I'd think failure was my own fault!   I am going to order because I know I'll have a month to use the vacuum before I'd have to return it.  I was awake during the repeat of the TSV midnight show with Rick and the vendor when the vacuum appeared to be picking up everything either of them tried.  I need something I can carry out to my car -  really miss having a garage so I'd have electricity close by.

@millieshops   Right now the actual Vendor rep is on with Pat and has already specifically mentioned 2 major changes. They did change.

Plus you actually have MORE THAN A MONTH TO RETURN. You have until January 31. Oddly, my order is now showing DECEMBER 9 TO ARRIVE. So, they might have decided to be prompt . . .

@1Professor    Hope we get them next week-end.  Unless there's a real problem, I would expect delivery by then.   I've had a car vac on my "want" list for a while now which is why I watched that show when I woke up in the middle of the night!  Wish us both good luck.

@1Professor  I really hope this one turns out to be a good vacuum.  I'm vacuum poor here after adding a couple different ones since Covid.  Something I did find hilarious during the presentation though is when the presenter said it might be mistaken for a sculpture sitting on your counter.  I hope that's what people mistake my big upright for whenever I'm too lazy to put in the closet 😂
