I noticed they did say they get hot, so I wouldn't want to put one anywhere where small hands could touch it, not sure if it would be safe around animals.  No thanks.

The vendor said you can't use in the bathroom or laundry room because it is not water rated.  Very interesting.

I got a set for at work. I do not have animals, small children, or water in my office.

They are only 750W power each. Most  electric room heaters are 1500 W

This afternoon I watched and the vendor said they are "spot heaters" like under a desk for cold feet.

She also said it was 40 cents a day for 4 hours.  I take it to mean 10 cents an hour, right?  LOL
