Re: Scrub Daddy TSV - March 27, 2024

[ Edited ]

i tried them when they first came out, was not impressed, so this is an easy pass for me.  agree, this is not TSV worthy or is it a great price.   They sell them at TJMaxx, 2 for $4.99

$$ in my pocket.

ordered it.  I used this item years ago and liked it.  The configuration of the cleaner and the little caddy swayed me.  Funny what will sway you to buy something.

The ones I tried years ago when they were all the hype fell apart quickly. I never bought them again. I agree it’s an odd choice for a TSV!

Re: Scrub Daddy TSV - March 27, 2024

I live in a small town. One grocery  store chain and Wal-Mart. Three Hardware related stores. They are readily available. I only want just one not a $36.00 set plus shipping. They have been available  for nearly 10 years.

Wal-Mart has a number of Scub Daddy and Mommy variations and  holder displayed on the end of the aisle. I bought a set of small  Scub Daddys two piece in an oval shape with a soft side for as often as use one last week. It is not so conspicuous. I don't have room for that much stuff sold in the TSV.

Husband uses the Scrub Daddy with warm water to get the bugs off the front of the car.  Says it doesn't scratch the paint and is very effective.

Re: Scrub Daddy TSV - March 27, 2024

We're a Scrub Daddy/Scrub Mommy family. Nothing lasts when you're putting it through its paces but these are surely better than thin, smelly double sided grocery store  sponges.  I've never tried the Cif cleanser but I'm curious.  We currently use the Bio Clean.  The TSV can easily be divided into smaller gift sets.  I'm still deliberating.  I'm in good shape with my current supply of Scrub Daddies and Mommies, and Bio Clean, but I'm still tempted to order and make kits for our kids.  🤷‍♀️

They're so cute, but give me an ugly little brute of a sponge that actually cleans well over a cute one any day.

I find these, and Magic Erasers, fall apart way too easily! I have been using Scotch Brite Dobies, for years and they are 10 times better!

Re: Scrub Daddy TSV - March 27, 2024

I have been using Scrub Daddy's abd Mommy's for years since day one.  I have never had them fall apart.  They last forever.   The mommie with the soft side may not last as long as the daddy.  What I love the most is they don't get stinky and funky like regular sponges that really fall apart fast in my opinion.  I have given these as gifts and have friends asking for more.
