I don't need a towel set, but I do like this configuration. 

I never use hand towels that come in sets like these. My guest hand towels are monogrammed and neutral in color.  They will match with any towel set I purchase.  I use fresh washcloths a bit more often than switching out my towel.  That's why I always purchase my towels & washcloths separately, not in sets.

I agree, this configuration does not make sense to me. I need new towels and would consider trying these, if it was 4 bath, 4 hand, and 4 washcloths. I like to change out my hand towels frequently, and with only 2 in the set I would be laundering them almost every day. Whose idea was this??

I'm not buying, but I actually prefer wash cloths to hand towels.

I rarely use wash cloths. All bathrooms have scrubbies with 1 or 2 wash cloths for the quests. People seem to prefer the scrubbies because they get so much lather. This will be a pass for me.

I like the bigger set, but it needed four hand towels and I wouldn't be opposed to 8 wash cloths. 

I think to be really useful, a 'set' should come with a towel, a hand towel and two wash cloths. 

It would be helpful if in addition to the TSV configurations they offer in towels, they had open stock, especially for the wash cloths. Most people use many more wash cloths in a week than they do  towels, and open stock would allow us to build the sets we want to complete the TSV offerings.

I can add that if you do use wash cloths, they are what wears out faster than the other towels.  Some people use them to remove make up and use a fresh one in the morning and again at night.  

They get stained and ruined more often than bath or hand towels,,,and the washer eats them like socks.

When I buy towels, I always buy double wash cloths compared to the bath towels.  Once a customer yelled at me to doing this in a Home Goods Store.  She said there would be none left for others if I purchased them all.

If you go back to get more wash cloths at a later date, they are always sold out and now you have towels, with no nice matching wash clothes.

I fell for the Northern Nights TSV towel set because of all the "wonderful" properties they were supposed to have!

Gifted to my niece for her new home -- after 6 months (hems unraveling, piling, etc) her little Frenchie has them in his dog bed!

ugh...

And i prefer to be able to "feel" the towels before I purchase.
