Same TracFone as offered in October?

Is this the same model Qvc offered in October?  I always buy the phone just for the minutes.  I just cancelled my land line so will depend on my cell more than ever.  With wi fi, I barely touch any of my minutes.  Anyway, I purchased this but am now wondering if it is the same as I bought in October.  If so, I will send back.  I prefer LG over Samsung.

It is not the same phone.  The other is also an LG which I have and like it.

@cddh  On the first page of the TracFone Q&A on the TSV thread,  we asked if this phone could be bought and the minutes used on the old phones,  which is what I've also always done.   The company rep said no.

I imagine they're getting rid of this Treasure model because it's now old technology.   The are over 400 reviews on it on HSN.

Oh good!  I have the one from October and like it too.  I prefer LG over Samsung.  I don't have any complaints with the LG I have now but the TSV is a good deal because of the minutes.

That's why I couldn't understand why this was a TSV. It seems they are just trying to clear it out. I got a new Samsung Tracfone from another network last month. A Galaxy On5, it has the latest 6.0 Marshmallow OS., Actually Nougat 7 is the latest, but it's not widely available yet.  They hav e another LG available here with the same amount of minutes offered, and a larger display of 5.3"

@Bigbear52  I have the Galaxy On5 also and so far,  like it a lot.   Got a couple snazzy covers on eBay for it.   Pays to do a little snooping around where these phones are concerned.

Itcame with the case in color of choice, like most of the network offers do. I think the covers are useless in offering any real protection. I found a vewry nice protective case for the Samsung On5 on Amazon, great price too, under $10.00. The brand is called OEAGO. It has the slightly raised bezel around the screen, hopefiully protecting it in the event of a drop. I came to the Samsung from a Moto E Tracfone I got from Evine 2 years ago. I really wanted to upgrade to Marshmallow 6.0 and a larger display. I like the fact that the battery is remov able, not so with the Moto E. And I can expand the memory with a micro SD card.Just wish it was compatible with a VR headset that I ended ups shipping to my older son. 15403154_1547319371951997_877057760_n.jpg
