Re: Ryka TSV - December 31, 2024

I love Tyka's, but decided against these due to the S&H prices.  I'll stick with getting my stuff thru HSN.  I can buy Ryka's many places with free shipping.

@beach-mom thanks, I'll be watching. Looking for something comparable to my old Hoka Bondi 7 which aren't made anymore. That was my best shoe for comfort and walking for my knees and feet.  I tried on the new Bondi 8 but wasn't wowed like with the Bondi 7. Wonder if they have the same comfort....

@Faceplacegirl I haven't bought a pair of Ryka's in many years (didn't care at all for the one I did try) and who knows how this one is made but I have worn Hoka and I doubt this is comparable.  I did buy a new pair of Hoka's recently (which I haven't yet worn) so not sure how those will compare to my last pair, which were great.  I wear orthodics and do a lot of walking and I wear mine ALL the time.

Y’all better hurry up and order the Brilliant White (which doesn’t look brilliant to me) because at 12:05 last night Jayne said they were already limited!!!! Bhahahahaha!
It doesn’t look like any colors or sizes are sold out. These are not for me but if you ordered I hope you love them.
Happy New Year!🎆

@Dennieee    The white bottoms are the very latest in all athletic shoes.

I didn’t get the TSV, but I did order the cute retro looking Rykas that were on sale and used the 12days12 promo to save an extra 15%. Fingers crossed I like them. 😂

I've never worn a comfortable Ryka sneaker.  Those complaining about the poofy sole, you obviously are not a walker.  The sole on this shoe is hardly poofy, though.  I like the Saucony shoes for walking/running.  Sooooo comfortable.  Like walking on air and you feel like you could walk forever.71ipi3ctE1L._AC_SY695_.jpg

I complained about the poofy sole, and walk between 10 and 15 miles a week.  People are different.

@donovan   Agreed.  I power walk 5 days a week.  I have never liked these thick poofy solid white color sneakers.  There are plenty of walking sneakers out there that are multi-colored and/or have the gum sole on the bottom of the white poof sole.  That also breaks up the marshmellow effect.  Just a matter of what people like @snipsnapsnur .

I only used the picture for the sole, not the color, lol.  Mine are bright turquoise!  I've walked in walking shoes with that flat looking sole.  My feet ached so bad after 4 miles.  When I bought my Saucony Triumph 20's, I felt like I could walk forever.  They also have a deep heel cup which helps a lot.
