Micro needling is very popular.  Yes there are needles, but they don't go deep.  It is not a pain that can't be tolerated.  It does work.  Look at the reviews on Amazon.  If you clean your face before and clean the tool after, you won't get a infection.

I've had good results with microneedling. The lines around my lips and mouth are so much better, but you don't need an expensive device like this one.

I just googled to see what these are all about .... Walmart sells a device that similar for $10.

 

Looks like "everybody and their brother" has a similar item for sale!
