I am fairly new to QVC. I have stopped once or twice while flipping through the channels but have never purchased anything until this week. At any rate before I buy something, no matter what it is I Google the item and the word 'review' to see what others are saying about the item. Today I see the Joy Mangano Forever Fragrant sticks. I have never heard of anything with a scent lasting 2 years so I start researching. I google "forever fragrant joy mangano review" (without the quotes) and 2 of the first 3 reviews are directly from QVC. The second link shows the item had 496 reviews with an average rating of 2.4. Not good. I clicked on the link and see what past buyers had said and guess what - the page has been removed. I look at the cached result from google and it shows the page was removed on the June 6th, the day before these Fragrant sticks went on special. Hmmmmm. If you believe in your product and it really works why remove past bad reviews. I find this to be a very dishonest way to do business. Sell products that really work and you won't have to worry about a few bad reviews from people, plain and simple. I am watching 130,000 people buy this item and wonder if they are going to have the same issues the past buyers did? Since I am new to QVC is this a common practice that I have to worry about before I order more products? Has anyone else ever noticed reviews being taken down?
