I have never read a post about Indigo turning hair blue, but the good lord knows I have tried.

This is not me but I think her hair rocks.

This isn't a permanent effect, @imagemd .

When it launched most of us were pretty timid, mixing Indigo with other WEN cleansers and/or only leaving it on for a few minutes before rinsing out.

We were all experimenting with variations.

Then @World Traveler posted photos after she'd left it on her hair for four hours. I think that gave a lot of people more confidence it wouldn't leave their hair blue. After that people posted about leaving it in their hair MUCH longer before rinsing.

Blue toner shampoos aren't new, and were known to be quite drying, but as usual Chaz redesigned his to be unique. His is for ALL hair colors, and is moisturizing.

I'm not totally gray, but Indigo does not turn the gray I have blue, it makes the gray silver and shiny. It does make my medium brown hair look cooler. I have an 84 year old aunt who has a beautiful head of thick gray hair, the leave in toner she uses makes her hair look blue, she loves it.

I have vibrant, auburn hair & I use Indigo! It keeps it from getting “Orangy”. I ❤️ it!

I am brunette and color my grey with a golden brown color (Revlon Colorsilk).

I use Indigo and the results are shiny, bouncy, silky hair. I am very satisfied with the Bella Spirit line.
