Many of us posted our before and after photos when WEN launched the Bella Spirit Indigo cleansing conditioner last autumn.
For those of you wondering about the TSV Indigo toner, I'm reposting my photos and inviting other WEN users to post photos here for you to see the effect on 'non-models'.

@x Hedge Do you like your color better after?

I like both, but I think my Indigo hair is more flattering to my skin tones.
I don't color my hair but my water has chlorine, fluoride, and tons of natural minerals (including orange-y iron) that effect the color and make it brassy.

@x Hedge That's a pretty amazing change in color. I guess it depends a lot on your skin tone, which color looks best. I like the white, but on me, my golden blonde color is more flattering. I have city water, so probably not much iron (doesn't taste like it, thank goodness).

Hi Hedge, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
I forgot to say this is my natural hair. Also sometimes I mix the Indigo and other times I use it straight as a first cleans.
First off let me say the lighting made my hair look for more brassy than it was. There was some but it was mainly where I touch my bangs. This pic was taken about four months before the Indigo launch.
This is what my hair looked like after about 4 cleanses.
And this is my hair now.

Honestly I've watched very little of the demonstrations on this. So let me ask, is the Indigo used for blonde/grey hair only? I saw Chaz's before and after and I think his before looks better as far as color and shine.

Hi Equuleus it is for all types of hair and all colors.
FYI this is what Chaz has to say bout it.
Bella Spirit Indigo is violet-based and intended to help enhance all hair colors. For blonde hair, it helps tone down yellow tones and brassiness. For red hair, it helps tone down yellow and orangey tones and the look of brassiness. For brunette/dark brown hair, it helps tone down red and orangey undertones and the look of brassiness. For gray hair, it helps counteract the look of yellow undertones and brassiness.

@woodyend Thank you so much for that info. I have red based hair which i do color to cover the few grays I have. Red is the worst for not lasting long and I'm left with lifeless, orangey tones which I hate. I may have to give this a try.

@2blonde , my water, as described above, is city water and a very good quality as water goes. All the surrounding areas with well water buy water from our (lakeside) city water plant.

Don't know whether @SurferWife is currently using Indigo on her red hair, but I know she tried it when it was new.
Perhaps she'll be able to answer.
