@timeless

I'm so sorry, but don't know about that. I've never smelled the Crabtree & Evelyn. I hope someone sees this and can get you the answer you are looking for Woman Happy

Re: Philosophy TSV - April 16, 2024

I would love to try several of those scents, they sound lovely.

But Philosophy body creams have never worked for me.  Within 20 minutes, my skin is dry again and I need to re-apply.  I don't care what it smells like, if a body cream isn't first doing what I need a body cream to do for my skin, I won't use it.

The last time I purchased a similar configuration, about 1.5 years ago, or so, there was no scent remaining after the EDT dried down.  Is the EDT better now?

Re: Philosophy TSV - April 16, 2024

@timeless , I got the lavender when it was last on as a TSV. I've not had much luck with the "new and improved" Philosophy scents but one of my favorite scents is lavender so I thought I'd give it a try. Got the 3 pieces thinking layering was the way to go. Mine smells like Raid. I was so disappointed that I told myself: never again. I used to get the Crabtree & Evelyn, a favorite, and Philosophy is nothing even close to the scent. I'm guessing C&E used more natural oils in theirs to get a real scent. I was hesitant to say anything because it may just be that my scent sense has dulled with age, so this is merely my opinion.

Thinking I’d like to try bergamot. Is it citrus?

Q: What does bergamot smell like? A: Bergamot has a unique scent profile that may remind you of a tart, sun-ripened lemon. It is a delightful blend of sweet, citrusy, and spicy notes, with a hint of floral finish. This complexity in its smell makes it a desirable component in the perfumery world.

I hope this helps. Cat Very Happy

Isn't this a repeat TSV?  I was on autodelivery for this same thing and switched out scents.  I LOVED the Bergamot and the Jasmine, but I returned the Lavender, and I usually love lavender scents.  It smelled kinda chemically and not like lavender essential oil at all.  I don't like original Amazing Grace scent, but Bergamot and Jasmine were terrific.  Bergmot is crisp and probably my favorite, but Jasmine is a close second, somewhat sexier and might have a little sandalwood in there.

@scrapperlisa Do you typically like floral scents? I don't usually purchase florals, but thought that maybe the Bergamot or Jasmine don't read as traditional floral scents. I like the idea of a crisp citrus or a sexier scent with a bit of sandalwood. I might purchase and send back if I don't like.

3,200 sold by 5:55PM, Shawn announced in her Philosophy show.

That's seems like a very low number for a Philosophy TSV.
