Philips Sonicare Diamondclean TSV from November 2017

Anyone else having issues with the on/off button?

Philips is sending me a new one this week.

The warranty is for 2  years and if you sent in the warranty card, it's 2.5 years.

So we're under a year, and it's covered.

I got the pink and they are sending me a new pink.

Mine wouldn't hold a charge.  Returned and got a newer version from Amazon.

We bought two Oral Bs a year ago from Sams and neither will hold a charge more than about four days.  The old ones we had we could take on vacation!  They would go for way more than a week.

My original basic Sonicare that I bought from my dentists office 7 or 8 years ago is still going strong.

I am using it while I wait for my replacement to arrive.

Re: Philips Sonicare Diamondclean TSV from November 2017

I bought one of those when it was on sale for $100 on Amazon Prime Day.

I have always used an Oral B because I thought the brush head was smaller. It's not really smaller. The Sonicare is slimmer all the way around so it takes up less space in the back of your mouth if you have that problem like I do.

I do think the Sonicare removes more plaque then my Oral B 7000 when I use it on Deep Clean.

There are Pros & Cons to both.

Oral B has a power tip I like to use to clean around my crowns plus they have a variety of other brush heads. Sonicare does not have this. Only a couple of brush heads.

The Oral B 7000 is heavier. The Sonicare is easier for my smaller hands to hold on to but the Oral B has some rubber around it that makes it easier to hold on to.

The Sonicare should hold a charge longer but I always leave it on the charger so that part does not matter too me.

The Sonicare leaves my mouth over all feeling cleaner.

I still have to use a dental scraper to remove any plaque buildup around crowns etc.

Just some FYI in case anyone is thinking about buying an electric toothbrush.

@VaBelle35  Hey there!  I'm glad you posted this - I was having the same issue with the on/off button.  Mine was stuck, half in, half out.  I'd have to really try to press the button 10 or more times to get it to turn on or off.  I finally contacted Phillips today about it, they were super nice about it.  Like your situation, mine is still under warranty so they sent me a prepaid mailing label and a new pink one will be coming.  Made me very happy.

That's good to hear.

I got mine in the mail really quickly, less than a week.
