It has a light kit on it and it circulates the air just enough. Lowes and Home Depot sell them. I also had the first one I np ought in my tiny laundry room. It's my favorite. I hang up clothes I don't put in the dryer and turn on the fan. Voila! Search micro ceiling fans online.I really wanted to try this. My bathroom is the size of a shoe box, so I always need a fan blowing in there to keep me cooler when I'm getting ready. But, $400 for a fan was completely nuts, so I will continue to swelter in there. $400 for a fan sounds like robbery to me. I wonder what the markup on something like that is.
