Re: Opinions on Isaac Big Deal

I would not wear this dress.  It's too matronly and I am 68 but I don't want to dress like i stopped caring.   Cat Very Happy

@achyrelle,

It would not look nice on me. So no 🌻I wouldn’t wear it.

It's a big no for me !  I don't care for it at all.  Funny I don't think it looks at all like something Isaac would even design . It seems to me of late  "his" designs are looking more and more like something done by Demin & Co.  Has anyone else noticed this ?

Exactly! Just like D&C. Funny he critiques designers (with more talent than his Q designs) on Project Runway All Stars as a judge, too.

@achyrelle @Silver Fox1 I wouldn't wear it and I don't think it is worth it.  But given that is jmho, each of us has a different perspective on style.  If you really love it, go for it and enjoy wearing!  I'm curious how much input IM really has on his name brand fashions presented at the Q....  I think it might be very different from a hands-on designer i.e., Luis Dell Olio.

the good  nice range of sizes

in reg and petite

the, bad colors are not really this season and the lace is not particularly attractive, the price is high----considering I can't try it on, and exchange

b/c they are designed by the same group?

Thank you all. Smiley Happy

I am trying to be more selective in what I buy so I want to make more considered purchases. I had my eye on this dress since the commercials started a week ago.

I do like the lace and the colors, but the baggy, poor cut comments are ringing true for me. I do prefer to have my clothes create some shape. The cut is too straight.  You all are correct, it would have to be altered in order for me to be satisfied with it.

Thank you all for the comments.

I don't care for it at all.  It's not my style and I agree with the other post that it looks matronly.
