Re: Northern Nights TSV - August 22, 2024

I could use some new sheets, but have bought Northern Nights sheet sets twice, and returned them. The quality wasn't there. These look nice, but I will wait for reviews first.

@Biftu , those are what are on my bed now and are wonderful and are all I look for in sheets. I don't like paying that much (I realize the prices I'm used to paying for QVC's sheets are no longer) but for something I use daily for years, the price per use is good. And they have ivory!

@Carolina925  Thanks for your review.  They are in my wish list due to the price but you are right, price per use and the material you want makes them worth the cost.  At some point I'm sure they will move to my cart.

@Carolina925

I feel the same about only 100% cotton, more substance than flimsy.  I do have a cotton linen blend that have a lot of substance lol.

And @Biftu thanks for the tip I've added those too to my wish list Smiley Happy

I love Nancy Hornbeck being back as brand ambassador, but I think it would be beneficial to her if she would learn how to make a bed, how to do the corners.

@Sakuya , same here.  I prefer darker colors, fall colors.

Re: Northern Nights TSV - August 22, 2024

I was wondering how the addition of Tencel changed them.  I like cotton sheets.  I got some bamboo ones when we got a new mattress set and I hate them.  Too slick for my tastes.

What I really want is the Wrinkle Defense sheets, and I like the Dobby Stripe pattern, but they don't have it in Sage right now.

I remember when they sold all sheet sets at the same price regardless of the size.

And now they add $5.50 s/h even for the TSV which they don't show on the product description page.

Re: Northern Nights TSV - August 22, 2024

Can anyone recommend another brand of 100% cotton sheets?  (Not necessarily from QVC.)

I still have some 100% cotton NN and Amadeus sheets that I love.  I also bought a set from Catherine Zeta-Jones that are wonderful.  (I was surprised!)

Might try a set of these sheets in twin size.

100% cotton only!  I get the 800 thread count sheets from Costco.  Wonderful fit and feel.  No tencel or bamboo for us.
