Re: Northern Nights Mattress TSV 3/10

I think that hybrid mattress has a layer of memory foam on it as well. I'm out if that's the case. Memory foam is not all that it's cracked up to be. It gets dents and goes flat.

That NN Serene Dream mattress is already on the website but not listed or priced as the TSV. Take a look. It's not for me.

How long does a hybrid mattress last? I've read that they don't last very long, maybe 6 years at most. I want a flippable mattress, too. I don't think that TSV is flippable.

@Sugipine I'm concerned about that too.  I've stayed away from the bed in a box maddresses because of concerns about longevity but thought MAYBE one of the hybrids might work.  Not so much for me, but my husband is a large man and I don't want it breaking down quickly because of his weight.  I also want one that minimizes movement transfer for when he turns over.

From what I heard during the kick off, it does minimize movement for when someone turns over etc - don't know about if it tends to break down though over time due to weight.

And the getting rid of your old mattress part is a big deal breaker for me~ partly due to living in a town that only allows for bulk pick up of garbage once a month and no room anywhere to store the old in the meantime- also what if you do try the NN mattress and within a couple weeks you totally can't stand it and wish you at least had your old mattress back ugh?

Have wanted to try these but still on the fence.
