Re: Ninja Air Fryer TSV 3/27

[ Edited ]

I'm single, living alone. Being able to use two zones on different modes, at different temps/times and having both finish at the same time is my motivation for buying.  I have several Ninja Foodi appliances the 6in1 Smart Grill and the Smart probe dual heat flip air fryer with sear plate and love all of them.  I jumped on a White unit yesterday.  Like presentors said today, "You can always cook less food in a large, but you cannot make larger portions of food in a small". I also have the Creami and love it!  Shark/Ninja are constantly innovating and each counter appliance(s) I replaced to buy Ninja have been good decisions.

@wahoozgas, I believe this model has ceramic coated baskets not traditional nonstick.

The information on the Ninja website is a bit confusing ... says the baskets have a ceramic coating, but it just says non-stick for the heating plates ... so I did an online chat with them and asked if this product was PFOA/PFTE/PFOS-free so it could be used in a home with birds. They responded that all of their products were free of those chemicals. When I asked if that was stated on their site anywhere, they responded with:

No, unfortunately we do not have it published, but you can rest assure we do not use those chemicals on our products.

I have a concern when they don't put it in writing.
