Without a broad flat surface how can it really air fry? Dual chambers just layering and steaming the food.

@hopi

Well maybe if all you're air frying is french fries - yes.  But ribs on end, whole chicken, wings, drumsticks.  Also don't you shake your air fryer during the cook?

The major benefit that I see is TWO air fryers operating at same time - either sync together with Smart Finish feature and both done at same time.  No multiple air frying rounds to get everything cooked.  You can use Smart Finish or Match cook.

From YT videos of the 8qt and 10qt people love it and the appliance does a pretty good job on all 6 difference functions.

Maybe it's just not for you.  But I wouldn't discount it.

I have this and I love it.  We do a lot of sir frying and I like having everything timed to cook and end at the same time.  No I don't "layer" everything.  The two containers are perfect for my husband and myself.  He loves my chicke tenders, wings and pork chops that come out of this.

Unfortunately it's way too big for my counter space.

Does this air fryer let off much smoke?

We have one of these but not this model.  Mine is all digital.  I had one of the original Cook's Essentials egg shaped and I hated it.  I bought a power XL and it died about 6 months later.  So, I took a chance on a Ninja and have not been disappointed.  I've cooked the usual frozen foods but chicken and pork chops are to die for.

I've been wanting to get this, but I've got to stick to non-toxic appliances because we have birds.

I love air fryer cooking.  I have a single basket Ninja that is perfect for me since I cook for one now.  Otherwise, I purchase this one is a second.  Enjoy!
