Did Mary Beth say what size she was wearing? She's always honest.

She said she normally wears a 12 but is wearing a 10. She is wearing the petite and she is 5'5". The length is 29". They look good on her because everything fits. I am only 5'1" and the length is too long for me. I am not going to pay $20 to have them hemmed.

You can go to the NYDJ website to find out what size you wear in that brand.

AND if she doent like the size she wears to fit properly - just dont tell us the size ! I thought thats why they have all different size and shape models.

Is this about the jeans or about calling out the hosts on the sizes they say they are wearing? FYI, it is indeed body shaming....

I bought the NYDJ a crop jeans TSV this past spring.  I ordered two sizes because I didn't trust that I could go down a size.  Wouldn't you know it, I could! And I really like the pants.

I hemmed and hawed all day yesterday, trying to convince myself not to spend $75 on a pair of jeans, but right before midnight I gave in and ordered two pair.  Of course, my size is on backorder.  🤷‍♀️

The VANITY sizing is a TOTAL gimmick that MANY women fall for.

VERY OVERPRICED. I ALWAYS find them at the Goodwill Boutique store for $20, many are new with tags.

I've said it before and I'll sy it again, telling us how tall someone is and the size they are wearing does NOTHING.

We need their measurements to help us decide how the clothing fits each individual.  Especially the hosts' measurements.

To me that's nothing to do with body shaming, it's assisting us with fitting ourselves compared to another's dimensions.

I may not be expressing this concept clearly enough, however, I hope it's understandable.  It would require the hosts and their models to be honest and I think would increase sales dramatically with less returns.  A win for all.

I think you are viewing one thing and hearing something that doesn't compute. No one is body shaming. This word is over used.

@elated Ok - I see the tone in the comments about hosts sizing and it is passive aggressive at the very least. At the end of the day someone will feel insecure , so I guess mission accomplished ?
