I'm happy for everyone who loves them. But I don't buy the gimmick size down. They just want us to feel better about buying a size smaller.
And during the presentation...before and after...I don't see a difference. Maybe it is just me..
But again...I am very happy for anyone who loves the jeans. Jeans are very hard pants to get to fit.

This Age of Possibiites selling point is really getting stupid. I watched at midnight and instead of asking each model their height and size they were wearing, Amy asked each model how old they are. Well, that really told me what I needed to make the right choice about size....NOT!
Also, I agree about the sizing down being a gimmick. Does this really make someone feel better about themselves? The plus size model looked better in the before picture than when she sized down. IMO

Sizing down in them works for me. I wear a 10P in Talbots but an 8P in NYDJ. We are all shaped different and what works for some never works for all. The petite inseam in these is 29"; way too long for me at 5'1" but thats my problem. Not everyone who wears petite is as short as me. I just don't buy them if they are too long or I accept that I havd to pay to get them hemmed.

I wear Petite in all clothes, but 29" means I will need to have them hemmed. I do not wear heels with jeans or with anything for that matter, and I am only 5;1" which means I am several inches shorter than some Petite buyers. I have learned to accept the fact that if I want something and the inseam is too long I will have to have shortened or not buy at all.

Not the least bit interested in this brand.
I prefer the signature Levi's I buy at WM....fit me great....size 0.
Plus, nowhere near this price.

Have they mentioned how the fit is in the thigh? I like a slim fit thigh. I watched the presentation with Leah this morning and it wasn't really addressed.

Nice jeans, good price. I like NYDJ but I bought the DG2 Tsv in cocoa so I don't need any more jeans now. I'm set when it comes to color and style. I don't size down. I order my true size.

@chiclet Really? I see it all the time and I wear heels with jeans to work. I wear them with bootcut and wider bottoms and the length must come to the ground. I dislike the high water look.

@Sunshine Kate wrote:Finally a jean that does not have holes/rips in the legs. So glad that awful fad is over.
Never understood ripping brand new jeans even for a fad would be acceptable.
Except that the trend is not over. Ripped or distressed jeans have been on for over 20 years and the women who like them still wear them. Just not so much in colder weather. Not at all when it's very cold. NYDJ caters to an older demographic that doesn't wear distressed/ripped/torn jeans. Not sure if other QVC jeans designers do. About ten years ago, I bought a pair from Old Navy and I wore them out and about on a Saturday. I thought I looked modern and cool. I was 50 plus. And then when I got home in the evening, I saw myself in the mirror and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I looked ridiculous with those holes in my jeans. I took them off, called them up and stuffed them in the garbage can...outside. Lesson learned.
