My Pillow - sizes are different than standard pillow sizes??

I just ordered 2 king size my pillows as I have 2 standard ones already and love them.  But, I noticed that the king size says 32 inches long.  Most king pillows are 36 inches long.  Why are they 4 inches shorter than a regular king pillow??  The reason I am ordering is because we bought a King size bed and I want them to fit that.  My other King pillows are 36 inches long.  Help!
