Re: Mrs. Prindables TSV - November 6, 2024

These look great, but I already advanced ordered M98398 during Christmas in July, which was 8 smaller apples for $39.98, now $42.98. I will probably stick with those, as I prefer apples without so many artificial colored sprinkly things on them. I also love their Pink Lady apples, but those usually don't come out until closer to Christmas. I was hoping this TSV was the Pink Ladies, oh well. If you've never tried their apples, they're great and you will love them.

I love Mrs. Prindables apples and especially their caramel pretzel rods, which I just snacked on while watching election results. So frustrated that our local results are so slow in Virginia, because one of my girlfriends is running for city council, but at midnight they only counted 27% of the vote for our little city, but usually have results by 8pm. Crossing my fingers that she wins.

Due to our lifestyle change, I don't buy any foods from QVC anymore. The few I was still purchasing toward the end I even stopped buying - meats & salmon burgers. We don't buy anything that has been processed with sugars/carbs/grains/seed oils.

DH gets a much better deal for meats at Costco...getting big 15-20+ lb slabs and then cutting them up for rib roasts and/or steaks for us...much cheaper than Rastelli's offers.

I also used to buy the Egg Harbor salmon burgers but not anymore since we stopped injesting seed oils. I used to love the ones with sundried tomatos...oh well. I think the last time I ordered them was 3 years ago now.

Since it's food day on QVC, I just checked the QVC 2 line-up/program guide and not impressed with the schedule, so I'll be trying to find other options to watch. It's gonna be a LONG day...even TCM hasn't offered really good movies lately.

Looks like it will be a Brit Box & Youtube videos day...

Sigh. Smiley Sad

I order these every year for DD to hand out to the kids' teachers, etc. They always get rave reviews. The price for 10 is the same as last year. I'm a little concerned about the cinnamon roll flavor - would prefer all chocolate. We'll see...

I don't really care for these apples.  I've tried them a few times over the years and just don't get it.  Maybe it's just me or my taste buds but it tastes like cheap chocolate to me and the apples are not the best.  Of course I am spoiled by eating apples in New England right off the tree so maybe that's it.  If you like them, enjoy Smiley Happy

I think these appples are very good--have ordered a couple times. But not this time--just not into the sweetness much anymore.

We have a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory downtown from where we live. You can get their caramel apples with peanuts, pecans and/or toffee. They use a Granny Smith apple. Delicious. I prefer these to the sweet, candied ones from Mrs. Prindables which I've tried and bought for gifts. Just a matter of choice/taste, I guess...

Love the apples....hates the sprinkles!

As I said previously (sorry I'm a broken record) they're just added sugar with no taste benefit, added artificial coloring and they crack your teeth off!

Kids like sprinkles....adults don't.

Are you seeing this Mrs Prindables? I know you're not......serious problems here!  haha
