It's that time of the year.  They're just capitalizing on the gotta lose weight before swimsuit season crowd.  If it weren't this, it would be some other snake oil.  I remember a couple of years ago some sort of stuff you sprinkled onto your food. You could eat anything you wanted, but you had to sprinkle this stuff onto it before you ate it.

I read somewhere that you could get the same effect by sprinkling onion powder on all your food.  Basically, because everything takes on that taste, you eat less because the food is no longer as tasty as it was.

They'll start selling Vitameatavegamin next.

(ETA:  If it has the same effect that it had on Lucy, I might buy it!)

I have heard this rep say in a past visit that you should be consuming 100grams of protien per day....REALLY?  To me that's ALOT to eat!  I thought serious body builders might eat that.  ANyone know more about this??

I am not interested in this product but information about eating and how much!

Sounds more like a version of the Atkin's Diet.  High protein, low carb maybe?

I almost went for it but I thought how can your body shed fat in a targeted area from a vitamin pill.

@dex - The answer is it can't.  I'm amazed, if they're making that claim.  And note that the claims have not been reviewed by the FDA.

$60 for hope-in-a-bottle?  No, thank you.  The thing that's "working" for these test subjects is the "2000-calorie diet and walking for at least 30 minutes, five days a week".

I always extend to you who have last 10-20-30-40 pounds by "cuttingbackwatchingwhatIeateverythinginmoderationwalk1/2houretcetcetcetcetc" my best wishes and congratulations, then add that FOR ME, your "solution" doesn't apply.

SOME of us have complex mind/body issues that require DIFFERENT, NONTRADITIONAL, and usually UNIQUE efforts to succeed in managing eating and body issues.

I'm SURE that all of you who are attempting to be kind by offering what has worked for you are UNAWARE that there can be multiple solutions to what, for some of us, can be a complex and heartbreasking.

The ingredients for this product are readily available on the TSV page, and may be researched on noncommercial sources online, and although it may be disappointing, there IS valid research indicating that the combination of the two STATED herbals MAY aid SOME people in losing SOME weight.

At my highest weight, I would have been overjoyed to lose 10 pounds. The suggestions above, generously shared by SO MANY, DID NOT WORK for me. Through trial and error, I learned that I have numerous triggers that I have ultimately been able to address with some success.

If you have not experienced overwhelming cravings combined with overwhelming shame in relation to your body size, please don't think you speak for MY weight/body size/body image issues, please do not think you need to speak for MY obesity, and I will not EVER try to speak for yours.

To those of you who have found YOUR solution, my congratulations. To those of you who are researching the product being sold today and who believe it may be of some help in your efforts to solve your weight problem, hopes that either with the product or by some other method, you are successful.

Putting embarrassment and self consciousness can be a good place to start, and I don't hesitate to recommend starting there.

I am a person, who does not lose weight by counting calories and walking.  I can lose on a low carb diet.  That is the only one that even begins to work for me. I have gained and lost between 50 and 100lbs many times over,

what I do know is that there is NO pill out there that will melt away the fat.  If there was such a thing, it would cost much more than $60 and there would be no overweight people in the world.  These pils would be worth more than gold if they worked and wars would be fought to get them.

it's sad when companies prey on people looking for help.  The only thing that will get smaller with this product is your bank account.

in addition, these suppliments are not regulated by the FDA.  How do we know they are safe?  Other suppliments available out there have caused harm and even death.

Everyone can decide what is right for them.  Just be careful.

Of course they promote a high protein, low carb meal plan.

We, of the low fat, low protein, high carbohydrate sector don't

need, or look for, crazy supplements like this...cuz our plan works.

Low fat whole foods plant based for the win!

Let's see.......eat 2,000 calories of high protein, fruits, vegetables and sensible snacks, exercise at least 30 minutes a day five days a week and take Meratrim and Safslim and you will lose weight.  Eliminate the Meratrim and/or Safslim and follow a sensible diet and exercise program and you will lose weight.  I will agree it is more difficult to lose weight when you are in menopause but it can be done without chemicals.  At least that is my experience.
