Re: Me by Jennie Garth TSV July 29, 2024

Ii am a firm believer of purchasing the very FIRST TSV of any new line; with that said, the jacket is very similar to one from PLW a few years ago....with the back pleat --- so oI am on the fence about ordering it......

@Ainhisg   I love this jacket by Free People.  The pockets are higher up too, and with no gusset making it fuller.  The cuffs are unique for a denim jacket -- I love the look!  But not spending that amount.

Suzy Oversize Denim Jacket

 $148.

These bigger denim jackets are on trend right now.  YouTube fashion influencers are big on the Wal-Mart denim shacket shown below.  It's not the same as the TSV (obviously) but it is kind of the same look at a much more friendly price.

I think this Walmart jacket is a lot cuter than the TSV.

I think it's cute, something a bit different from all other jean jackets. The pouchy front pockets do look a bit strange to me but that wouldn't be a deal breaker; it looks great on Leah! I like the fabric and she was very proud of the recycled polyester added.

I think it's made for the younger shoppers, the length and the way it billows wouldn't look very flattering on my old body where I carry weight in my midsection, but I think it would look nice on young slim bodies.

I watched the presentation this morning with Jennie & Courtney and it was so soothing. I really like her on-air presence, very calming and no hollering.

I'm on the east coast so all of QVC's lines that tout the "California inspired look" doesn't mean anything to me but it is nice to see something new in their fashion lines.

I'm taking a chance and ordered the jumpsuit in denim.  I also ordered the long denim skirt. I'm petite sizing so it's hard for me to find things long like that that fit.  We'll see.  Fingers crossed.  I actually like a lot of the clothes in her collection.  Maybe they give me 90's vibes a little bit so it's nostalgia for me.  I'm around the same age as her.

I just do not need another denim jacket no matter the style. Kim had them and I bought her pale shell one this Spring. Lori also has had them and bought the one with the eylet trim Pat had on one day with a cranberry sweater. I also bought an Isaac jacket with crochet trim in olive in Spring.  Alot of choices already out there.

Easy pass for me. I do like the pale color palette  which may not be for all certainly. It looks like wide leg pants are popular?

BTW Tori had a jewelry line many years ago on Q and I recall couldn't show up to present  in person which now could be remote. She has has alot of issues over the years. I thought Jennie was better solo this morning.

YES! His Walmart jacket is cute and inexpensive! The TSV... no thanks. I don't care at all for the wide swing or the bubble pockets- Not flattering- I see nothing in her line that interests me- Enjoy!

The Walmart jacket is a junior size. Does one size up for junior sizing, assuming one is an adult?

I ended up cancelling the long skirt out of my order.  I'm just not 100% on it.  I'm a little over 5 feet tall so I'm thinking it may be too much fabric even in the petite sizing.  So, as of now, I only have ordered the jumpsuit which I'm taking a chance on.  I like that it has a tie waist and looked good on everyone I saw it on.

i don't mind the pockets since you can go in from the side and top.  and i like what another poster said about the pockets.  someimes you don't need a crossbody, those pockets will suffice.

but the killer for me is the back pleat.  it just sticks out too far.  the silhoutte is just not to my liking.

so easy pass.  but i will watch for 'as is' returns and maybe snag at  a lower price.   i like the dark blue and black.  i would get the most use out of those.
