I think the quilting is nice! I just don't  think I would get much use for it. I have a friend however that is super creative and stylish and would make it happen! She's creative like that. I have a few things she has "fixed" and I just love my new things!

Those sleeves keep the draft out. Makes perfect sense to me to have that design especially for a vest. The sleeveless vests are always drafty in the arm holes and then your entire chest gets cold. Sleeves are an effective way to keep warm w/o overheating.
