Malden Mills VS Berkshire fleece sheets

Is there any difference between these 2 brands?  I bought the MM last year and love them but I see that the Bershire fitted sheet is a few inches larger which is great!  I may give these a try.  So cozy but NOT hot!!

Hi Honeybuns, I just posted on the Berkshire TSV Thread. Rather than reposting, I will tell you I love our Berkshire. I've waited all year for this TSV. They are fabulous!

Re: Malden Mills VS Berkshire fleece sheets

I have items from both and find which has the better softness level to be a close call. Malden Mills has a small upperhand if it appeals to you more that they are the creators of Polarfleece (the first in the category of microfleece).  When you see items of any kind which use the fabric name Polarfleece, regardless of who the manufacturer is, they are using Malden's fabric (otherwise they can only call it microfleece or by some other made up name).

I think the TSV sheets look cozy, but I prefer jewel tones in this type of sheet set.

Re: Malden Mills VS Berkshire fleece sheets

I have both and they are great. I usually have my throws/blankets in the Berkshire and the polar sheets in Malden Mills. It was just a matter of what was the TSV at the time. I agree that softness is a close call. They both are good brands. They both was and dry well and last. I actually stayed up to watch the presentation last night because these sheets have me tempted. I love the color palette. I really don't think you can go wrong with either.

Re: Malden Mills VS Berkshire fleece sheets

I have both the MM and Berkshire sheets.  My husband and I "LOVE" the Birkshire much better.

I have been waiting for these to come on for weeks.  As soon as we saw them last night, my husband said; "order them now and get two sets."  I ordered the truffle and the smoky plum.

We actually use ours year round and they are very comfortable in the summer with the AC.

Can't go wrong with the Birkshire.  Actually, I'm thinking about ordering another set.

Re: Malden Mills VS Berkshire fleece sheets

I found the Cuddl Duds apparel hot and returned them for more than this reason.  These sheets appear to be thicker/heavier.  Would they be too hot to sleep in?

Can someone tell me is the texture on both these brands the same. I want the Berkshire ones so bad but they don't make them in XL Twin. I mean do they feel similar. The berkshire ones look a little more fluffy.

Re: Malden Mills VS Berkshire fleece sheets

I have the original MM polar fleece blanket from like 12 yrs ago. They are not the same now so I opted for the Berkshire sheets.
