I just saw an email from QVC announcing a presale of an upcoming Luminara TSV. It states " 4 Gifts! Starting at $ 11 each". They are a set of 4 candles in three size options, 4 inch for $74, 6 inch for $ 80 and 8 inch for $ 88. Can someone tell me what I'm missing here? $74 divided by 4 is $18.50... so where does the "$ 11 each" come from??

They're probably factoring in the free shipping.

Thanks for this info, and it appears to be a huge disappointment once again.

We asked last time they did this TSV to give us sets with all sizes in them. And if they are the same horrible colors and cheap looking smooth finishes, they aren't worth half the cost, in my opinion.

Luminara needs to step it up in the color/finished on their candles. They are putting out way too many plain and boring sets.

Well glad to know I'm not the only one confused by the email.   I thought the same thing at $11 each that's $44.  Imagine my surprise to see that they don't start at $11 each.   If that sign were posted in a store, they'd have to honor the pricing.

Actually, I think it's QVC who needs to step up what they're ordering from Luminara and stop ordering the same boring sets or lanterns.

I recently picked up a 5" & 7" 360 degree Luminara at BBB that are embedded with seashells and starfish and they're gorgeous (I have a beachy decor)!

They also have Birch Luminara's that are really nice too, as well as the taller votives and the scent cartridge Luminara's that are sold out on the the Q.

By the time you use BBB's 20% off coupon, they're not much more than you pay on QVC, considering no shipping and you can actually see the quality that you're getting, without incurring return fees.

So Luminara is making some nice, unique candles, QVC just isn't bringing them in.

They probably get the plain, lower quality (according to some) sets cheaper, is my guess.

@vipadvisor@Mominohio

I have found that Luminara makes a reliable product.

I would like tapers for the front windows with remotes.

If not this year (due to cost) then next year.

I was hoping for size differences within the set.

     I was too!!  And was also looking for the candles without the high/low top.  Though pretty, this style looks best when the back of the candle is up against something - wall, inside of cabinet, back of fireplace etc.   Does not look as good on a free standing base...am still deciding on purchase!

    Oh, and the ivory looks very yellow to me.   I have other ivory Luminara candles and they do not have that golden cast.

I accidentally saw these "exact" same candles (fake flame with timer & remote) on Amazon for much less-made by a number of different companies.  They were so much cheaper.  I ordered a set.  They seem the same to me.  Does anyone have an opinion on this?  Is Luminara superior?
