Very tempting! Cautious as to what color as all mine are white or meringue and wondering how the grill lid will clean up on the meringue side. Will probably also have to buy Lecreuset grill cleaning brush from 20+

I don't know why they feel the need to morph just about every TSV into some sort of two-fer.  This looks like a very awkward cooking vessel.  I think they do it so as to not compete with their own website.

I have zero interest in a product that requires two oven mitted hands to remove the cover.

I have something very similar from quite a few years ago now, when Le Creuset first came to the Q.  I found the black-coated grill pan almost useless, as everything I tried to cook on it stuck badly, no matter the temperature and what I tried to "grease" it with.  I never used the smooth half for much, either, as it's too shallow to cook very much.  I suppose I could roast a chicken or pork roast in it, but I usually use a Dutch oven to do that, with room for vegetables, and a lighter-weight lid that is more easily removed to see what's going on inside.  So this is an easy pass for me, besides the fact that they don't offer "my" color of Caribbean any more.  To those that cook things that would work in this pan combo, I hope you love it when you get it home!

Re: Le creuset TSV

yep...that black coating is TERRIBLE...unless they improved it.

Those glass lids a few years ago were ridiculous too...vented imported glass lids that totally negated the reason one used cast iron cookware to begin with...so the tight lid kept IN the liquids from the cooking process.

These "made for QVC" seem like factory experiments!

The reviews should be fun in few weeks!

I almost bought it until I read these posts with some very good points. I love Le Creuset and even my husband thinks it’s pretty good. So I saved almost $300.00 so thanks.

I've read you can buy cheaper at Kohl's & elsewhere.  Still not interested.
