@banned again  As always, thanks for the update! That being said, 3.5 qts. isn't big enough to do a soup, stew or braise for a week's worth of food. I wouldn't be able to use this small Dutch oven for much.

If I were younger and just starting my cookware collection, I might be interested.  Now, however, I wouldn't invest that kind of money on something that would only get occasional use.  The weight of my cookware pieces is beginning to be an issue for me too.

I love my Le Creuset. I do 90 % of my cooking with 2 pieces my Le Creuset Dutch oven and my Lodge cast iron fry pan.

I'm really sad that it is a repeat Le Creuset.  I was so hoping they would showcase another Le Creuset piece at a great discounted TSV price.  I bought this dutch oven las fall when it was presented.

It's not a new or exciting piece, but for us we use the smaller pieces now more than we ever have being retired and not cooking for visitors, the week, or parties.

As far as original or signature, I have several pieces of both and honestly, I never think about or even know which is which.

I am happy with my coated Calphalon cookware.  At this stage in the game, not interested as I don't cook as much as I use to.  It is is beautiful piece but pricey.
