I think this is a good price for the two. I've never tried Double Take, but I love Balance & Glow. My favorite Spackle is Champagne.

I already wear sunscreen, so IDK. I'll watch the show and see!  Smiley Happy

Good to know! @beach-mom

I love her blush! I’m using her cream stick blush in a tube. Came in a duo. I always used her compact powder blush until I tried the cream. Now it’s my new favorite!

Have fun shopping!! 🤗🤗🤗

I wish I could try the Spackle with SPF by itself.

@mnmom Try periodically checking the Laura Geller website. I have to believe it will pop up on there at some point, and there always seems to be some promotion running, which is nice.

@mnmom me too, the spf spackle is more appealing to me than that huge foundation. That being said, I decided to give it a try.

I had a hard time choosing between fair and light. The models in the picture look like they have the same skin tone to me. Actually the light almost looks lighter probably because she is blonde. I decided to go with fair.

@beach-mom and ALL!!

I’ve read where dermatologists advice if you wear makeup with sun protection you still need to apply a separate sunscreen first.

It’s not concentrated enough when it’s built into a foundation.

I’m really surprised and disappointed that companies like (IT) don’t mention this when selling. BUT then again that would take away from their big push for their item.

I would love to try Double-Take! I love the ease of  powder foundation but it looks awful on me-

So,  let's get real... If you have more mature, sun damaged skin, ie, a little crepey, wrinkly around eyes,  does double-take apply like any powder foundation- cakey?
I can't tell from the  presentation- BnB has never covered anything on my face. Thanks!!

Re: Laura Geller TSV - June 4, 2024

So once again with Laura Geller baked foundations...

"The shades are forgiving."

Really??  Seven shades offered.  As Shawn and Laura go over the shades in the midnight hour, they're trying to get the specific light shade to use just right on the models.  Even Shawn says, in the heat of summer she wears the Tan shade -- Shawn can wear Tan.

So I guess darker skinned women fall into barely two shades, Tan and Deep, as far as the Laura Geller brand is concerned.

If the shades are so forgiving, then have the consideration to make the various shade variations for darker skin too!  We are not just Tan and Deep.  A TSV fail, as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Laura Geller TSV - June 4, 2024

I tried the Double Take foundation a very long time ago, at least 15 years ago, maybe more.  It is not Laura's company anymore and so much time has passed, that I doubt the formula is the same.  What I can tell you for certain that I remember is that the compact shape was oval, and the lightest shade she offered was too dark for me. It did provide coverage and didn't accentuate lines, but I was a lot younger.  Don't know if the same can be said on a senior's face like I am now.  I don't know yet if I want to get this tsv or not.
