@eddyandme, I'm so glad you got the zipper to work and can keep them! They are just the cutest and warmest boots - plus they're so comfortable. I bet you're right about the cold and how it could make that zipper stiff.

I tried on a pair in Marshalls and I was disappointed because I thought they would be a lot thicker and fluffier like my Bearpaws, but they were pretty thin. They look really cute though.
