A stand mixer.  It's always a huge stand mixer.

My daughter has one of these mixers. She makes dozens and dozens of cookies for Christmas gifts. She loves hers.

Personally, I don't care for the lift bowl.  I don't know why they don't make a larger bowl tilt head for those who want to make huge batches of things.

I spent the last week in London on vacation.  Love to look at all the different kitchen and appliances at the department stores over there.  The KitchenAid mixers were priced from 600 to 800 British Pounds.  I asked the sales lady and she said it's considered a luxury high end brand over there. She was amazed when I told her about the USA pricing.

Anyone have the Silk Pink color? I'm wondering if the color shown on tv is close to what you see.

I have this mixer in gray. I bought from the Q about 5 years ago AND paid a higher price. It was a tough choice between tilt head or bowl lift. I went with the bowl lift model because of the higher wattage. Double batches of chocolate chip cookies, not a problem. 8 pounds of mashed potatoes for Thanksgivng dinner not a problem. This model is a workhorse. The price is outstanding!

I can't imagine needing equipment like this to bake and cook, but it sure would be nice for someone who does and/or has a bakery.

They look nice as usual.
