This is tempting me. If it had some side rails, I might get it. My balance is bad and I like holding onto the side rails of a treadmill.

@scrapperlisa @My thoughts, too....but I'm not sure that's a deal breaker for me. I need to really think about this....it looks like a terrific treadmill and I love that it folds.....

No side rails is a dealbreaker for me.  I've found that as a treadmill gets old the belt will sometimes cause wobbly steps when it first starts and I need the side rails to keep my balance.

I think this treadmill looks easy to set up and use. The only thing is the 2 hp motor seems light. They should have stated the maximum weight on the machine. It would have been nice to have the incline feature.

I looked on Amazon and they have quite a few folding treadmills. Some have siderails and the costs is about half with free delivery. Amazon has payment plans for 6 months or 12 months depending on the costs with zero interest.

The deck length of this treadmill is too short.

I've owned several treadmills, and the length and firmness of the deck are extremely important.
That's something that can't be determined when buying online.

Best to try in store.

I saw a QVC promo for this on Instagram a few minutes ago.  What's the purpose of the black clip-on cord/ribbon?  I noticed on the promo, she clipped it to her shirt.  The guy in the promo photo has it clipped to his shorts.  Last night Shawn didn't use it and it just dangled in front of her leg.

I noticed the WalkingPads on the Kingsmith website have options to add a mat and a standing desk.  I'm not sure if I'm coordinated enough to work at a desk while walking, but I think that's an interesting option for those that want it.

@1tuffcookie

Safety device. If you fall off the back or side of the device, it instantly turns off the motor when it disconnects from the unit as you fall.

Can't really tell on this one, but where it attaches to the machine is usually an electro- magnet.

If that magnet loses contact the machine immediately stops.

They seemed to indicate the magnet side of the cord HAD to be connected. Whether you connect the other end to yourself doesn't seem to matter. The magnet is what stops the machine.

Shawn probably didn't have it clipped on because she was on and off it so much in the demo.

I'd read the reviews of this model.
