Re: Kingsmith TSV - January 4, 2025

Thanks @beach-mom !   I already have a treadmill so easy pass. Not surprised with this TSV.  From yesterday's TSV I noted QVC is focused on selling items that will interest those making new years resolutions to lose weight and get in better shape and health. It happens every beginning of the New Year.  It's a QVC tradition. I was watching Sandra talk to a customer who called in at the first presentation saying she bought this treadmill from QVC a year ago. For those who purchase the TSV, wishing you the best in your goal for better health.

Re: Kingsmith TSV - January 4, 2025

We used to own a really nice treadmill but it took up a lot of space.  It turned into a laundry drying rack more than a piece of equipment.  We ended up selling it.

Nowadays, I exit my front door and walk through our neighborhood for free.

When we lived in the Midwest, we owned treadmills. They were great in the winter. Now, I walk outside all year.

Re: Kingsmith TSV - January 4, 2025

I walk a mile, or two daily with my dog. Used to do 3 to 5, but dog and I are getting older. Gotta save these joints.

I love being outdoors. But, in the TX heat of the summer it's awful, if I don't get out very early. Now retired, I don't do early well.

So, I opted for a walking pad for some days due to weather, or when I just want to catch a few more steps. For me, I think 6  thousand power steps is enough, along with other household and gardening chores, plus upper body weights 3-4 times weekly.

The TSV looks like a nice treadmill, with lots of features. I'd be interested in it, if I didn't already have a walking pad. My pad is only for walking.  I like you can jog with the Kingsmith. If I had it, I'd alternate short bursts of jogging with walking.

Re: Kingsmith TSV - January 4, 2025

I'm interested in it. I have a gym membership and go 3-4 times a week and walk around our neighborhood most days with our dog.

But sometimes, for some reason or another I don't want to go out and I'm interested in maybe hoping on after meals for 10 minutes to help with glucose control or in order to get in more steps...so I'm thinking this might be good for that.

I like the small footprint and would be able to keep it out where I could jump on easily.

For anyone reading, who owns a walking pad, is  it adequate exercise for an already fit person?

I usually walk on a treadmill at an incline and worry that with no incline it won't really be very challenging.....

I think this treadmill is for people who want to exercise. I think an incline is important because it gives you a better workout. Amazon has treadmills with inclines that are less expensive.

Wear a weighted vest or a weighted belt if you want more of a workout on a flat treadmill. That way you'll get strength training and cardio at the same time. Sort of like walking on an incline.
