Re: Kevin O’Leary Wine TSV - March 6, 2024

I've never really cared for wine.  For those who like it, enjoy.  I'm not sure if this is a good value or not.

You can get the same value at your local liquor store ladies! I was just there on Sunday buying a couple upcoming gifts for holidays.

I like watching Mr. Wonderful on Shark Tank, however, no wine passes these lips. . . Cat LOL

The only wine that I can have because of thet
tatins is Moscato. I have had his wine before and it is very good. I'm not buying today. I have wine here.

Since we don't drink alcohol in our house, it's an easy pass.

Re: Kevin O’Leary Wine TSV - March 6, 2024

I have had his wines in the past. I bought a case of the mixed types to serve at a summer backyard party.

I am no wine expert, but they were very good and the price was right.

My favorite wine is a rose'. I see he is offering one this time, but right now I have way too much wine at my house that I need to use up first.

We usually only serve wine when we have company or a party, so it's not something we drink too often.

Sorry to post again today, but I just watches O'Leary's tasting notes video. He took Sauvignon Blanc & added Moscato to it. What the heck! To take a light dry wine & add a sweet wine to it is crazy! My favorite wine is New Zealand Sauv. I understand this is California wine but he's talking about his wine being sweet with notes of peach & pineapple. If someone wants sweet wine, go buy a sweet wine, but leave Sauvignon Blanc be. Sarah Jessica Parker had a good complex Sauvignon Blanc the first year it came out. Then she over thought it & added oak the next year. Yuck! Okay, I'm done with my rant. Good bye

@Sweet Kitties   I agree about that blend.  But just like fashion fads, this Sauvignon Blanc & Moscato seems to be a trendy blend of late.

The only way I'd drink it is to cocktail it and make a summer spritzer.  Maybe add some citrus,  Or I'd try club soda, lime, and mint.

Otherwise, no thank you.

Who combines Sauvignon Blanc & Moscato?? I love SB and agree with @Caaareful Shopper about New Zealand Sav.B that is my favorite as well.  I cannot drink Moscato it is much too sweet for me.  I will stick with going to my liquor store to get the wines I know I like.

Re: Kevin O’Leary Wine TSV - March 6, 2024

What is with Kevin O'Leary's screaming when he tastes something?  It's absolutely obnoxious!

I've managed to avoid most of the wine presentations, but O'Leary popped in during the Rastelli presentation in Gourmet Holiday to taste the Rastelli chicken.  He bellowed with his mouth wide open again.  That shtick of his is so cartoonish.
