I don't have a dog in this race since I don't own one, but I would contact the attorney general in your state if you want to take it further without hiring a lawyer.  You can always file a complaint with that office.

 

I'm glad I didn't buy it.

To everyone that is sooooooo upset over this, call Keurig like I did.

 

They will tell you that this is the same machine.

 

If you are not happy, just return it.

If K55 and K40 are exactly same, they wouldn't have 2 different model numbers.

 

If machine is K40, they should sell it as K40 on presentation, not K55.

The internet shows that they are two different machines.

 

While they are "essentially the same" in terms of the most important features, they are two different models and they are not exactly the same.
