Julienne disc

The kitchen aid TSV processor has one. Can that be used to make fries or is that a different disc? TIA

 I have the French fry disc and was excited to receive it only to be disappointed.  It cuts big fries and they are curved.  I prefer my fries with a thinner cut and I like them to be straight, not with a deep curve.

 

My julienne disc makes thin veggie sticks... too thin for my taste for French fries.

 

I cut my FF by hand to get them just right for me.  I guess it depends on your taste.  Do you like match stick or steak fries?

 

 I love my KA food processor and use it daily. It was a good purchase.
