Re: Joy Mangano Eat Cleaner Fruit and Veggie Wash TSV

I see no list of ingredients.  Big red flag.  A tiny bit of citric acid with water removes everything I want.  I like the Trader Joe's brand of fruit & veggie wash.  I also use green bags and our stuff lasts a long time.

The US Patent for the product says:

Abstract
A system for substantially reducing surface contaminants of a food substance comprising a substantially transparent and odorless solution made from a plurality of substantially organic compounds selected from: citric acid, sodium citrate, vegetable glycerin, sea salt, potassium sorbate, decyl glucoside, calcium ascorbate, grapefruit seed extract, and sodium bisulfite, and an applicator for applying the solution to the food substance. The solution ratio of organic compounds is approximately: 2% citric acid, 2% sodium citrate, 0.2% vegetable glycerin, 0.2% potassium sorbate; 0% to 0.4% decyl glucoside, 0% to 0.2% calcium ascorbate, 0% to 0.2% grapefruit seed extract, 0% to 0.1% sodium bisulfite, and 0.2% to 2% sea salt.

I agree! I could not find an ingredient list on this product, only "natural ingredients." I don't feel comfortable ordering without an ingredient list!

This seems pretty close to the grocery store Veggie Wash product I've used for years, for certain veggie items. It removes wax, pesticides, soil and other surface contaminants.

I like it. It leaves my wax coated veggies squeaky clean, seeming to rinse off very well. It's easier than some other options that might be even less safe.

Just on principle, I avoid all Joy products.  In my experience she sells junk.  Absolutely can't stand to listen to her.

It appears there's green tape over part of the label or something. Does anyone else see this? It looks like they are covering something up. I could be wrong

If I'm not mistaken wasn't she selling this fruit & veggie spray wash a few years ago or I may be thinking of another vendor on HSN.  I rinse my veggies & fruits under running water, works for me.

@Belizima Not sure who you are asking, but my grocery store version is simply called -- Veggie Wash. I imagine it's stocked in many grocery stores. Mangano's product is nothing new. Mine is made in the USA, with company listed in Georgia, by Beaumont Products.
