I may be wrong, but somehow I think Joan Rivers would say no to having her name put on that shirt. It just doesn't seem like her style. If you can find a picture of her selling a shirt like that, I stand corrected. I miss you Joan!

@Sweet Kitties

I am not sure where you watched Joan, but on qvc she was often in boyfriend shirts. That is why they chose a big shirt for the tsv; it reminds us of Joan.

It may be soft but the fabric looks thin to me. (TSV quality??) I will stick to Lands End flannel if I need one.  Better prices and selections too and their fabric is beefy.

@Catch71 I'm impressed! You sure get an agreement fast in your joint Us account.  Anyway Us, I've seen her in boyfriend shirts. I just don't remember her in plaid.

DH likes me in plaid flannel shirts in fall and winter but I have mixed feelings on them which vacillates between cute and lumberjack. 🤷‍♀️  Pockets like this on a button down shirt make no sense to me.  I bought one once, unknowingly, and they add some bulk at the tummy/hips.  I'm not crazy about any of these patterns or color combos.  Knowing myself, if I decide I want a new flannel shirt, I could probably find one at Costco for $10-$15.

I buy my flannels from LLBean or the Flannel Store. They have the quality and thickness I prefer. The only color I like from the tsv is the ivory. Easy pass.

Re: Joan Rivers TSV - August 19, 2024

Looks like a nice garment at a good price. The plaid is a nice size IMO; some plaids are too big for me. I like some of the color combos too. Unfortunately, there are things about this shirt that don't work for me.

The main thing is that I'm not a big shirt gal. I tuck shirts in instead of leaving them out and this shirt is too long for that. The shirt jacket look is fine for others, and I did try it a few times, but it's just not my style. The other thing that ruins it for me is I want real working buttons on a shirt or blouse, not snaps.

For those who buy, enjoy wearing your new shirts! This piece will make some nice outfits in the Fall.

I hope everyone has a good week!
