Re: Isaac is on; let’s play a game

Saying like  over and over is  a bad habit.....up talking or nervous giggling.... all bad habits that get irritating to listen to.

Professional people in the public should get help to stop these bad habits.

          So I like Isaac, but his clothes have never fit me just right.  He does have some peculiar selling habits.  Not only saying 'like' every two seconds, but also the big, loud "Oh no" when told that his item is selling out.  Isn't he there to sell???  Why the big 'Oh no"...so silly!!!

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was going to be about the silly game he and Shawn K. play when they waste time imagining where people are going wearing the models outfit.  What a waste of time and so boring!  They go to a model and make up a silly story about where she is going and whats going to happen to her wearing that outfit.  I am so over that game!

Isaac makes the only woven pants that fit me.  He can say whatever he “likes.”

I thought it was going to be about that as well and also thought I was mean to think that it is stupid to imagine where someone is going based on the outfit she is wearing!  So glad to know it is not only me that is bothered by this.  Just show us the clothing and let us decide where we can/will wear it.

@GusMo

Here's the thing....

The OP's post was neither negative, nor mean, nor "not nice." Just as yours wasn't when you criticized her for posting it.

She was simply making an observation, stating that she likes his clothing, but finds the presentations distracting because of his constant use of filler words. As another poster mentioned, it's also unprofessional; in his capacity, he should be able to decribe his merchandise effectively.

As Martha Stewart might say, constructive criticism is a good thing. And she'd be the first to tell you that a lot of women can't make it in the boardroom because they view all criticism as "mean" and "not nice."

What worries you masters you.

and the next game will be "How many times can Jen Coffey say 'stinkin' cute'? in a single presentation?"    So immature.

I so agree Moonlady!   Why can't anyone post an opinion without a whole bunch of judgement?  If I worked at QVC I would appreciate the feedback - both positive and negative.

I cannot listen to Isaac or Shawn for even 2 minutes.  The "it's like" and other affectations are so irritating to me that I never watch their shows or buy his stuff.  He seems like a nice man.  Obviously he is successful, but when someone presents on television their speech patterns matter.  His use of "like" and other phrases is ridiculous.  I wish I could listen - his clothes seem cute from what I see online.
