Re: Isaac Yet Another T Shirt - Really?

@twinsister

I am with you, he rarely offers petites in tops.  I have bought many of his pima tshirts and if I put them in the dryer they do shrink in length.  After they shrink, I partially dry in the dryer then hang to finish drying.

Re: Isaac Yet Another T Shirt - Really?

Although I'm not buying this TSV, I have his version from last year and love them.

I think the typical buttons and banding on polo shirts is what gives them a bad name.  Just my opinion.  Those look much more masculine, or like they should only be worn on the golf course.   I've never owned a typical polo shirt.

The simplicity of just a split neck polo (should be called a collard top), with no bands, is more wearable to me.

I do agree that repetitive offerings of all of the Pima tops/t-shirts is getting very boring.

Cotton tee shirt for $40. All I see is ironing. Too expensive for a cotton tshirt

LandsEnd sells supima cotton polos in a wide range of sizes and currently they are on sale. Including regular, petite and tall, and plus sizes.

His tee-shirts are not the same as the original ones I bought years ago.  Both say 100% cotton but now they are more flimsy.

@lovesallanimals lol    Just tuned into QVC to hear Leah annouce this TSV is Isaac's first Tee as his TSV choice.

Easy pass for me -  I have no explanation why that style is terribly wrong on my body, but it is.    There are 2 in my closet that I doubt will ever wear out -  I believe I keep them to remind myself never to make that mistake again.  BTW- the fabric of both of mine is lovely and the shirts both fit.  They just look misplaced on me.

@millieshops Polo shirts never, ever look good on me...and I'm not sure why, either! I have a couple of Land's End tops that look very similar to the TSV, except with no collar--they look great. Something about the collar I guess.

Not "special" and not a "value."  Easy pass.

Re: Isaac Yet Another T Shirt - Really?

I have purchased many pima cotton polo shirts at Lands' End for a lot less, solids and prints.  Some I got with free shipping, others I paid more for shipping than QVC shipping, but the total was still less than the TSV price.

I love polo shirts and am happy with the Lands' End quality.

Re: Isaac Yet Another T Shirt - Really?

@lovesallanimals    It all went downhill when Isaac sold his brand.  Now he marches to someone else's beat and it's a constant parade of tee shirts.  I am also not a fan of them and have pretty much sworn off all things Isaac, although I find him mildly entertaining.
