Did anyone else notice that when IM first went on air with the TSV, he was examining the jacket as he had never seen it? 

This isn't an IM bash, I really enjoy him. But it speaks to the theory that there is just one QVC design team (other than SG) across lines and the "designers" are actually "stylists."

I have a Joan Rivers quilted barn jacket from a few years ago. It's black, quilted ALL THE WAY AROUND and is longer, the way barn jackets (originals) are supposed to be.

Not crazy about mixed media (a way to cheapen an item) and would it have killed them to have added a few inches to the length? 

Honestly, you really can't call this jacket a barn jacket...it's just a short, boxy, mixed media jacket that apparently Isaac hadn't seen until last night.

I like the colors - especially the sangria but I don't need another jacket. I have several of the barn jackets IM has done before and they are longer. I reminded myself this morning - yes it's cute. No you don't need it.

I bought the scarf in bouquet @scrapperlisa because I thought it was so pretty - even though I didn't buy the jacket. I have a variety of coats already & have to repeat to myself that I don't need another one.

 I watched Leah's entire show and I thought it looked the perfect length on her.  Any longer and it would have looked a bit matronly on her.

Barn jackets can be longer, yes.  But the ones like this TSV length I think look a bit more contemporary.

I respectfully still disagree, to me Leah looked like she was wearing a child's jacket, it needed to be several inches longer on her.

@Caaareful Shopper ...   I love the Northstyle and LLBean jackets you posted.  More my style than Isaac's.  I'm a pass on his.
