Re: Insulated Tumblers 11/27/19

Any of those lids with the gaskets will mold if they aren’t washed properly.

High shipping is always a deal breaker for me. I bought these last year, but returned them because the tab to open and close the lid was very hard to open. I won't purchase them again.

The lid will develop mold only if you let liquid set in it for days on end.  My son used one, and after he finished his drink, he absentmindedly just kept it in his room on his dresser.  It stayed there for days.  When he finally tried to wash it he saw the mold on the lid.  He just threw the whole thing away, thank goodness.

I have had two sets for years, and never, ever have a problem with mold.  Use, wash, dry, repeat.

Re: Insulated Tumblers 11/27/19

I purchased a set 2 years ago and have never had a problem with mold and they clean up great.  As with any Stainless Steel (just like Yeti) they should NOT be placed in a dishwasher.  Hand wash them only.  They keep coffee hot for hours.

All that being said - these are products which can be found everywhere for the same price without S&H.

When I drank wine, it would never have the chance to warm up in any old glass I used!!!

Tumblers. Yawn.

@Katcat1

I have a feeling this will be one of the items that will be cheaper the next time they have a free shipping day. You see it all the time. After the TSV the price will go up about $3 or so but with free shipping it’ll actually be cheaper.

I have the 20 oz ones from last year. I put carbonated drinks in them often. I have a new one still in box & checked the instructions for you- it doesn’t say you can’t use with carbonated drinks. I know you can’t use Contigo brand with carbonated drinks.

Not even tempted by this TSV. Wait for them to be as is, on clearance, or on a free shipping day. I've found nice insulated tumbles much cheaper at other retail stores.
