$7.50 shipping is nuts!

Just an FYI - Postage just went up again. I went to the post office this morning to mail a lipstick that I picked up for a friend who lives in Texas. The envelope weighed 2 ounces. I paid $7.40 for First Class/Ground Advantage with no additional services. I just about fell over. The postal worker said they had a price increase 7/13/25. Wow! Now I understand why QVC along with other retailers are raising their shipping rates.

@Starliteshine  - I agree. I just mailed my brother's birthday gift (coffee beans from a local place) and it cost me $19 shipping! That was the cheapest option!

They've really pushed this brand and pushed it hard, but sorry, not a fan and don't need travel bags. Easy pass. The shipping isn't a factor. I just don't want it. Besides, QVC routinely charges a good bit to ship any kind of bag.

@@Stevieb,

I absolutely love some items I've purchased but not impressed with others, so my experience has been mixed. Some bags I should have just returned because I rarely carry them. I do think this combo could be useful. I am thinking about getting this for someone as a gift, but you know me, I am tempted to buy myself a set too. I thought it might make a good gift for those who travel a lot. Even if they have luggage they could throw this in their bag for extra purchases. I just don't know about the color.

The best thing I have purchased from them was the east-west "traverse" tote, which was the best daily teacher tote I've ever found. Of course, I found it in my last year of teaching! I am now using it to carry around my iPad and other papers though. I think it is still available on their website if anyone is interested. That bag is amazing!

[ Edited ]

I've bypassed this post a few times, not really interested, then later had some time to read them. Many find they are loving this bag. What exactly do you like about this bag for that price?

I travel probably more than the average person, this bag is not my cup of tea. I like pockets and more compartments. It's also pretty darn big and pricey for nylon. I also find purses and travel bags a personal item and I wouldn't gift this as I don't see anything "special" about it (and maybe because I'm not loving it). Plus, a gift for travelors? I'm sure they already have more than one already as it's pretty essential. I admit, I may be missing something, I have never purchased this brand.

I also do not like metallic so that could be a turn off. I do purchase many QVC items, I have no problem with the reasonable shipping, I just feel spending $70+, these would not meet my expectations.

Well the travelers I know don’t have packable items such as a large duffel bag, so that makes it an Excellent gift.

For example, My IHKWIP duffel bag DOES NOT fold up to hardly nothing. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely ❤️ it, but it’s not the same as the TSV

I think they’ve mastered the material too, unlike LUG which has cheapened their bags quality so much so that they could give them away and I wouldn’t want one. 😜

Re: IHKWIP TSV - July 25, 2025

I wasn't planning to get one of these, but like you @1Professor , I thought they would make good gifts.

DD might not need it, but she will like the cosmetics bag. She can definitely use that. Actually she could probably use the duffel for "some" of her makeup. LOL! I chose the silver star for her.

DS is a minimalist. He will probably keep these folded until he goes on a weekend trip to visit friends. He flies a lot, so he can use it as a carry-on bag instead of his college backpack, which has seen better days! I chose the black for him.

At the last minute I got the military olive. It will match my Lug olive wheeled bag I bought when Lug first came to QVC. And DH can use it too.

As someone whose bank card has been compromised a number of times, including when I was away, I won't get anything without RFID!

And I like the fact that it's water resistant.  Smiley Happy

@beach-mom

I just happily solved 5 gift challenges.

The thing is, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THEIR ONLY OR FAVORITE DUFFEL!

Anyone could make use of this, forget travel, for schlepping things around.

@SEGardener 🤗

I’m thinking their annual greenery that matches their Christmas tree TSV they just had.

Soooo 3’ Illuminated trees, garland, swags and spheres in Blue Spruce, Green and White.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! 😂

I don't have much use for luggage/duffels that fold down to nothing.  I don't see much use for them, and i don't really get the selling point.  I seldom go anywhere where I come home with more than I left with.

@faeriemoon We're just the opposite. I've been on a lot of vacation road trips from VA to Florida and I visit some of their great flea markets. I never knew what kind of bargains I might come back with. Having extra transforming luggage is great.
