      That sounds like bad business to me.

Why would a retailer not have a contingency plan in place to meet a higher than expected demand? After all, they do this every day.

 

Unless ... unless... they intentionally used the suspense of a potential sell out to keep viewers tuned in, heighten interest in the product itself, and prod buyers who are stalling to place their order NOW!!

     Yes, now it sounds like good business.
