I see they are offering the California Honeybelles on air today. Last year I not only got the Florida Honeybelles, but a month later I also went on auto-delivery for the California one.

Although last year both of them were very good, I found the Florida ones to be sweeter. Because of that, I let my California auto-delivery slide and didn't get it this year like I did the Florida auto-delivery.

However, to be fair, it might have been a problem with weather for the California Honeybelles last January. Perhaps they can be just as good as their east coast counterpart.

A couple of mine had black in them. I believe the quality control was better before Cushmans sold to Harry and David. If I was an orchard grower I wouldn't have shipped a lot of the honey bells I got in my order. mr Cushman always said don't mind the scarring on the rind but this year one had a hole from an insect and like I said one or two had black .... Disappointed.
